A West Texas fun filled tradition located in the heart of Lubbock's popular Mackenzie Park recreation area. Joyland has over 30 great rides and attractions ranging from roller coasters to junior rides to family classics. For coaster enthusiasts, notable rides are the Galaxi coaster, Little Coaster, a very wild Mad Mouse, the Big Splash water sled, and the Musik Express (a flat ride that even the most experience ACEers say is as fast and wild as they come). Owned since 1973 by the Dean family, which had ties in the amusement business to Wonderland Park (Amarillo), Cliffs Amusement Park (Albuquerque), and Funland Park (Wichita Falls), Joyland is now in its second generation of family operation. With a colorful carousel, food favorites, exciting fun games, and group outing facilities, Joyland is a place where family, friends, and co-workers can share fun times and create unforgettable memories.
